Retail has long been a staple of our business as well as the impetus for our national growth. Our work with Kohl’s department store is a prime example. For this client alone, we have designed more than 800 new stores from the ground up, nearly 200 remodels and close to 50 new store takeovers, as well as store additions, building assessments, distribution centers and disaster relief.

In these projects, we utilize value engineering to design efficient structures and provide cost-effective solutions. We develop and maintain prototype design documents and models, and collaborate with contractors nationwide to ensure consistent quality in design and construction across the country. We also work closely with the client’s facilities, store planning, construction and site development departments.

This experience easily translates to our other retail projects. We understand the industry-specific issues, and we know that retail design and construction is a constantly evolving area. We are able to adapt and provide design and engineering solutions when project timelines are expedited, or when changes inevitably occur during design and construction.
